Happy! Happy! Happy!

In the process of coming up with an idea for my 2006 Halloween Costume, I discovered three things that have made me deleriously happy:

Good: #1: The real possibility of a 2nd season of the live action Hana Yori Dango. Based off of a manga, this series held everything that made for that sort of nostalgic for a time and place you never had, tense yet funny and sweet drama viewing experience. It looks like they will be hiring back the same actors again, which is good, because the chemistry simply wouldn’t work with different people, IMHO.

Better: #2: I know what my Halloween costume is going to be. It will require some building, which is good, because I didn’t want to wimp out this year. Will post pics when I’m done.

Best: #3: Battle Angel Alita movie, 2009! (check it out on IMDB) For all who remember my ambition to eventually grow up to become Battle Angel Alita (ie: get inserted into a cybernetic body and develop supreme martial arts prowess while still looking amazing staring off into space contemplating my place in reality as a martial being) you can understand how the knowledge of a live action movie is completely awesome in my eyes. As long as it does not brutally destroy one of my favorite anime characters ever (thus making me cry, lots).

Off to bed, visions of cyborgs dancing in my head.
