Stuff to be excited about

I’ve got a lot going on lately that’s pretty cool. At the moment, I’m not taking any classes as I wait to hear back from grad schools. It looks like Hawaii U. is out because they’re missing a couple documents, didn’t e-mail me about it until after the deadline (even though I sent everything else in a month early), and I’ve just been a bit depressed and didn’t feel like mailing more stuff into them. Ah well.

I’ve gone back to swing dancing a couple of times too, which is super fun and exciting. Rebekah and Seth still go a lot, so I have some friends there to hang out with when I get tired. I’m also thinking of going back to Velocipede, the volunteer bike shop near my place where they teach people to fix bikes for free. Could be a good enrichment opportunity!

Last, I’ve started playing Mass Effect on steam because I keep hearing how good it is. Hopefully it will turn out to be pretty awesome.

I’m also trying to get ahold of a copy of “Hunger Games” before the movie comes out, but I can’t decide if I want it on kindle or in paperback. We shall see.

I want to read that, too. I was kind of iffy about it until I saw the trailer, which looked like it might be pretty good! What kind of program are you going into?

paperback!

Definitely paperback. Nothing like a real book, especially if it’s a good one like Hunger Games is supposed to be.

I watched the movie recently, and it seemed a lot like an Americanized Battle Royale. OK, but there were some parts that didn’t seem to be all that important in the end.
