Christmas is closing in

I’ve got most of my grad school apps done, with a few exceptions for annoying schools and weird requirements. I’ve sent out my secret Santa gift and bought something for my sister. My classes are over and I only have to work three days a week. It really does feel like the holidays.

Now, to finish my Christmas shopping. I haven’t bought anything for my parents or grandparents yet, which is a bit worrisome. At the risk of sounding super cheap, I’m thinking Target and Good Will should have some nice stuff.

Let’s see, what else is going on? Well, the kitten is inexplicably clawing me in the arms. There’s that. Also, I had sushi at Minato with Ricky, Amanda, and Dan tonight. Way too much sake! It’s great having a sushi place in our building, though. Super convenient!

Later, I’m going out with Scott and friends to see “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.” I really liked the book, so hopefully the movie is a faithful adaptation. I have to work tomorrow, so that will suck, but hey, who needs sleep anyway?
