Updates and Things of That Sort

Slacking again. For some reason, some bizarre stringent of my facade seems to beget a sort of apathy which hasn’t been distilled since the younger days. I’ve been lackluster in my pursuit of sunshine, soccer, sanity and even activity. In contrast, so many things have happened over the past week; so many changes, so many marks of freedom. At the threshold is the fact that I now have my cabriolet back, and in turn, am now quite the happy man. I spent the past weekend driving around with the top down, smiling, and dancing ’bout like the world is truly full of plastic perfection.

In addition to that, I’ve been busy gaming, hanging out, and even chasing a girl or two. But i can’t really get into that, at least not now, but ill say this; I’m still playing World of Warcraft. All such things aside, i’ve decided to put a little "blurb" entry here, with a few interesting facts about myself and my diary….well, interesting from my perspective, at least. It will also help the new readers catch up a bit to my behemoth of a diary, and also let out a few secrets either forgotten, or never outright admitted by yours-truly.

 

1) I was born via cesarian section. When i was a teenager, and when my mother and i would fight, one of my comebacks was always "well, i take particular comfort in the fact that i never had to come through your ——-." Yeah, i said that.

2) RevellingReckoning first noted me on 11/16/2001 . Her most recent note was on 9/12/2005. That still blows my mind.

3) I’ve been shot at 3 times. Held at gunpoint on a separate occasion, and a classmate brandished a gun during high school gym class.

4) I am published in psychology, but not in philosophy or law.

5)I have a B.A. in psychology, a B.A. in philosophy,  a M.A. in philosophy, and will graduate (hopefully) with my J.D. in may.

6) For 10 years straight, i dyed my hair black.

7) On numerous occasions, i grew out my fingernails; only the ones on my left hand, and i painted them black. I did this in highschool and in college.

8) I have lived with 2 of my girlfriends, and a total of 4 girls. I have lived with 2 guys.

9) One of my ex’s is married, one is a millionaire, one has faded from my sight, and one still lingers but needs to fade.

10) I have a thing for blondes. This "thing" started with le orginal M, continued/morphed with J, and ballooned into cheerleader-types sometime during law school.

11)I have paid for an abortion.

12) On Feb 8, 1998 a police officer decided hitting me in the face with a flashlight was the proper response. I respectfully disagreed with that assessment.

13) I’ve been in 3 car accidents…all pre-purchasing the cabriolet.

14) I own more than 20 pairs of black pants. I do not wear jeans.

15) I am a skilled trombonist.

16) The cost of one year of tuition of my law school is more than the amount of money my mother makes in a year.

17) I moved to NYC in august of 2001. Just in time for sept 11.

18) I wear contact lenses, which are clear. My eyes are "hazel" and shift from brown-green depending on the day/light.

19)I am a master martial artist, though i practice less than i should lately, and i haven’t "officially" gone to class in 5 years.

20) I drink a 2 liter of coke a day.

21) The pursuit of "the good life" or…an understanding of what "morality" is/means, is my life quest.

22) i have been playing Dungeons and Dragons since i was 13. I have been playing video games since i was 8.

23) After my freshman year of college, i had kissed as my guys as girls. Thankfully, i quickly repaired that disparity.

24) I’ve had 5 serious relationships. 2 times i left them, two times they left me, and the last well just sort of faded.

25)I stare at myself (naked) in the mirror for at least 30 seconds a day (usually right before taking a shower) i usually caress my stomach while doing so.

26) I was born and raised in PA, though i havent lived there in 5 years.

27) I have lived in PA, FL, NY, NJ, South Africa, Alaska, and currently reside in Missouri.

28) In high school, i would sneak over to my girlfriends house (a la her parents house) sometime after midnight, i would climb up the outside wall, up on to the second floor balcony, sneak into her room, and we would….*wink, wink* and then i would sneak home.

29) While in france, one of my friends, completely drunk, screamed "je suis superman!" and dove onto the bed in our hotel, bounced off, and landed with a "thud." I laughed for hours.

30) I actually like St. Louis, and my favorite spot to hang out here is the zoo.

31) Law school is still up in the air for me; while i think it was a great success-spot for me, sometimes i feel its a place i don’t really belong; the "culture" of being a lawyer doesn’t really sit well with me.

I forgot to actually come back and edit this, and now i’m rather tired (and it is a bit late) so i guess i’ll just conclude it here. I added a few, but no where near the amount i truly wanted. Perhaps i’ll do another fun little tidbit like this later; it was fun to wrack my brain and come up with some of the crazy things ive done.
