urges.

Just feeling the urge to reach out and say hi. I’m making dinner out of all this packets without much left in them from the freezer! I’ve been doing my supermarket shopping every other week and it has been working. It means I am using up all that food that sits there all cold and icy. However, my clippit slot in my drawer is getting fuller and my freezer is getting emptier so it won’t be long before a hoooge shop is required.

Tonight we have meatballs, fish fingers, breaded cod, chips and a variety of veg! I could probably do a paella with what’s left too.

I think I’ve hit the bottomof the dull barrel! I just want a girly natter you know? And since bffn started work full time we haven’t had much natteridge.

Tomorrow is the start of the reading programme which I’m (a) looking forward to and (b) cacking myself about. It will all go how it will all go…

Oh bugger, I really think that I have nothing to say. Sorry for starting this.

Ooh, I know, this convo came up in Spanish class last week, I have a question for you:

How do you feel if, while in your home country, you hear a group of people nearby speaking a different language? Feel free to go private if you like.

Lol I love the randomness of people’s lives. I am also running down the freezer and have some very strange meals 🙂 good luck tomorrow x

I think somwthing along the lines of “I wonder what language they’re speaking?”. I recognise spanish but not much else! .

I generally find it exciting and curious to hear another language. I guess I get excited about French more than anything because I might even understand part of it! 😀

I have no problem with people speaking their native language while in my country. I don’t speak a lick of German and if I went to Germany would have no choice but to speak English.

I am fine with it, why wouldn’t I be? Sometimes I even feel proud of myself if I can understand what they’re saying or if they ask for help and I can answer them in a fluent english/portuguese/spanish. Childish, I know 😉 Buena suerte para mañana!!!!!! **Mil abrazos** <3

I don’t think much of anything if I hear another language being spoken. I live in a big city though and hearing a variety of languages from residents and tourists isn’t terribly uncommon. The dinner I made tonight cleaned out the fridge of all the stuff that needed to be used up 🙂 It was a hoooooge curry.

I also, am going to run down the freezer food. I gave myself till the new year to do it though. I also am going to rummage through it and write a list of what is in there and stick it on my fridge…Me, I like to hear the different languages and wonder where they are from..

I don’t cook nearly as often as I should and because we all have different schedules the kids just take something out of the freezer.. and I feel guilty… but I go shopping for the same things that I don’t use week after week after week lol

I’m always really envious that they can talk about people without them understanding, but really down here in the south we arent that multicultural so its not an often thing.

We do this with freezer stuff too!! Good luck with the reading programme, hope it went well 🙂 x

I sometimes enjoy trying to work out what language they’re speaking. 🙂 And if it’s French I try to see if I can understand any of it. 😀 X
