What is your favorite thing to do when you have free time? [Soulslulluby]

Well… Usually, as sad as this is, sit and watch my DVR’d programs.
I also love scrapbooking, reading, cooking and surfing the web.

Do you think you’ll have any more children?

and also, I used to have a diary a few years ago & I feel like I’ve read you before. Did your diary name used to have something about a turtle in it? If not, ignore this question, lol. [Thaleia]

Yes, we’ll have more children.
Tommy is desperate and if I told him I was pregnant today, he would be over the moon.
However, I am a little nervous about being pregnant again after all the problems I had during my pregnancy with Wesley.
Plus, Wesley is quite high maintenance, and I’m just not sure I have it in me just yet to chase him around while being pregnant (and possibly very sick)

Yes, my diary name, as one point, did have the word Turtle in it. My husband’s old OD name was DocTurtle, and after we got married (nearly 4 years ago, now!) I changed my OD name to Mrs Turtle

Who is the better cook, you or Tommy?
Is there anything in your life you would like to do over with the hope of a different result?
What were your favorite and least favorite things about being a paramedic? Would you like to go back to doing that when Wes is older? [
BNL*Grl]

Tommy can’t really cook to save himself. I mean, he can do… like, toast. And he can flip wet things, pancakes, omelette, etc – unlike me. Who cannot flip wet items!
I cook 99% of the time and I really, really enjoy it. I like trying new recipes and I love cooking for a crowd (friends, etc)

I don’t neccessarily want a different result if I were to do something over – because that might mean I wouldn’t be where I am in my life today.
And I am very happy in my life, today.
That being said, I wouldn’t mind a chance to re-do the idea of going directly into university. If I were to re-do this section of my life – I would apply to university straight from high school, secure my place and then defer for a year…
And I would work full time – and experience life.
But that’s it.
My least favourite thing about being a paramedic was the 6 monthly fitness tests – I found the test where I lift a 220lb weighted dummy on a chair stretcher down two flights of stairs really difficult (I don’t have a lot of upper body strength) and had to work out, lifting weights, constantly to pass. And also, unrealistic – for someone of that weight, we would call the Fire Service and they would come and assist.

My favourite thing was the adrenaline you got when you were driving to the job, when you got there, assessing the situation, just getting it done… Of course, with an adrenaline high, often came a cash if you were too late, of if you couldn’t do enough, etc. But that’s part of the job.

You used to write more often, why don’t you now? How are you liking the US and how is it compared to the other places you have lived? If you plan on having another baby, what would you name him/her (off hand)?
(Private Note)

I guess it’s mostly fear of being judged. And that’s unfortunately the truth.
I feel like I can’t be myself in my own diary anymore.
But I love my favourites and have been reading most of them for YEARS, and couldn’t possibly stop now!

I’m … have to stop. Wesley-related. BBS to finish! xo

You should be able to be yourself. I used to worry but now I don’t give a crap. I love your circumcised icon btw. Tommy is also circumcised and I’m sick of people telling me how wrong it is.
