Seriously. lol

Grammy got out of the hospital today 🙂 I didn’t get to see her, but knowing she’s home is definitely a weight off my mind.

I worked all night (until 9:15). For some reason, the manager thought it would be a good idea to only schedule me and a cashier for the night. Well… it was VERY busy. So I was up at the register with the cashier for 90% of the night. The manager expected some things to get done, but… needless to say, they didn’t get done. She better not question me about it later. But… we’ll see.

When there was a break in the action at the register, I got to escort a few customers to the bathroom (they’re supposed to be for employees only, so I had to go back there with them). One of the customers was a teenage girl who just bought a pregnancy test. That was the height of the excitement for the night! lol. But… it came out negative. I thought I was about to witness some drama, but it fell short. It’s a good thing, though. We don’t need anymore teen moms running around :/

When 9:00 rolled around, I locked up the store, did the last bit of paperwork, and left. I drove straight home, picked up Tom, and went to the local Chinese buffet where we both made ourselves a plate. It was delicious. Now we’re at home watching some Three Stooges episodes. Right before midnight, we’ll watch the ball drop, and then retire to our bedroom for our own celebration… lol.
