Have I seriously not written an entry since October?

I am bored. I am so bored. Not just right now, but in general. Chronically. I am even more bored knowing that being bored is entirely my fault. I’m graduating in May. This, presumably, provides me with a chance not to be so bored. But I can’t bring myself to figure out what I’m going to do after May, because I’m afraid that after deciding, after planning, after moving or staying or whatever, it’ll turn out that actually, I am still bored.

This is stupid. I’m going to go find a job right now.

Well, that was fruitful. All I want to do now is teach old illiterate people to read, and they wouldn’t pay me for that. Also, most helping-people-type jobs (and I do, in general, sort of want to help people) in New York would like you to speak Spanish, which I stupidly gave up after highschool in favor of the language of my freakin’ forefathers, which I still do not speak well. I should probably give up and start looking into waiting tables now, no?

Oh well. I’m just pretending this is a nice, laid-back winter break like all the rest, and not one during which I should probably make substantial progress on my senior thesis and also maybe figure out what to do with my life. Thanks to this powerful denial, and the sheer volume of Food Network shows I’ve watched as a result of it, I cooked two whole dinners in the last three days. I’m a domestic dream, for real.

In conclusion, did you know they’re selling the tenth anniversary edition of Toy Story now? Yeah. We are that old.
