Boston/New York Picture Entry #2
Here we go again…we’ll start w/ a statue in Salem. In case you’re too young to remember, this is Samantha from Bewitched.
That’s right…I went to Salem and got me a man. Sure, he’s plastic…but at least he’s always hard!!! LOL!!!
Yeah, I don’t know why I always tilt my head in photos. I’m trying to break that habit.
Apparently I liked the pirate ship…I took a bunch of pictures of it. *shrugs* It is pretty cool, though.
The House of Seven Gables. No photos are allowed inside, so I can’t show you much more.
Both of these pictures (the one above and the one below) were taken in the garden outside the House of Seven Gables.
For those not familiar, Nathaniel Hawthorn is the author of "The Scarlet Letter."
After the finished up in Salem we drove to Connecticut since we were going to be catching the train into NYC the next morning out of there. We stayed at the EconoLodge…a suite at the Marriot it was not, but it was cheap and it was a place to lay our head and take a shower.
That is it for Salem…next stop New York!!!
