Work tomorrow.
Sometimes I feel like it takes me all weekend to mentally prepare for work on Monday. Saturday I pretty much did nothing. This morning after I took the dog to the vet, I came home and played a lot of Kingdom of Loathing. I am so glad I remembered that wonderful game. I joined a very active clan on there with a lot of very nice people. They really proved their honesty when I accidentally donated a rare item and they returned it to me. I didn’t even ask, they just noticed and sent it back, explaining to me that it was a rare.
I’ve played internet games with all kinds of people. Young, old, good, bad, people from Canada, Australia, far off places and places as close as New York or in my state but far away. I really don’t think I have had any horrible experiences with another gamer. On WOW people were mean sometimes but it wasn’t anything terrible. The internet and gaming has taught me that in all honesty, most people are ok. They are just like you and me. They just want to do what they want to accomplish and be on their way. I really believe that gaming online helped me to learn about people and grow a lot socially. It is a shame that the news media puts down gaming so much. Mostly all I hear is the negative side.
Glad you had a good weekend!

I’m not into gaming but know most people who are younger enjoy it. I do see a lot of addictive behavior in a lot of it, though. I’m very bothered by young fathers who are glued to the TV or computer.

I think it is the same as in all things: keep it in balance and you’re good. 🙂
@mamablue I knew a guy who was married and had a kid who sat in front of the computer all day. Pretty needless to say, he is divorced from that person now.
