Gratefulness
Every day I am grateful for the pleasure of a hot shower, and yummy perfectly made frothy coffee.
For chicken noodle soup that nourishes my soul.
For sunlight. For my dogs. For Sofie who is a blessing.
For the children I teach, for their laughter, their uniqueness, and the lessons they teach me.
I am grateful for the town we live in, the benefits it offers, and the simple lifestyle it allows.
I am grateful to be able to breathe easy, and to not be tormented by punishment and relentless exercise.
Not eating allows me the grace from the head torment, even though it is damaging me physically and psychologically.
I am grateful for simplicities. Complex things upset me, – hence my desire to reduce things to basic elements.
I saw the dietician today for the first time. This, after hitting my lowest all-time weight ever. I am afraid of moving forward, but I am still open to it.
He was good. Very good. And did not have high expectations. He also had zero judgements. He has 35 clients, (all with eating disorders) and he has been practising for 13 years.
We will see how it goes.
I am in a comfort zone. And deathly afraid to leave this realm.
the only way we grow is to step outside comfort zones, unfortunately. i believe that you are more than able…and no one said you need to do a flying leap out of that zone. small steps hon. and it looks like this dietician will be a good person to have in your corner. let him help you. xoxo *~

You can do this. It’s tough…but you can do this. *hugs*

It’s that leap of faith again Elizabeth… And I am confident that this new happiness in simple things will start to spill over to the other stuff soon. If you can whittle your body down to nothing, you CAN do anything. x
