LOL @ Ads Attempts

I seriously have to chuckle at some of these so-called diary entries that are literally nothing but ads. These businesses have no idea why we come here. We don’t come here looking to buy stuff, we come here to vent, connect, sort out our feelings and emotions or to keep track of our activities as we progress on our individual journeys of weight loss, building businesses, working on our writing careers, navigating family and personal relationships. We read each others’ diaries because it’s like sitting down for coffee with a friend and seeing how they’re doing today and what’s going on in their lives.

This diary is my favorite form of “social media”. It’s quiet with no doom scrolling dopamine quests. People are more real on here (I believe) because it’s not about headlines and attention-grabbing posts for views or likes.

So, to see just blatant advertizements is both annoying and sad. Clearly these businesses are desperate and they also clearly don’t understand their potential audiences.
