Drones over NY & NJ Explanation

When I saw the news last night that there were loud drones over NY & NJ for the past couple of weeks, and people are afraid, and the authorities have no idea what they are, but say, “They are not a threat to the public,” (how do they know they are not a threat if they don’t know what they are???), I instantly thought this looks like another Elon Musk over dramatic unveiling. When the authorities sent up their own drone and said the unknown aircraft were the size of a car, I, like everyone else, at first was afraid.

Especially with drones being used in the wars in the Middle East now, unknown drones flying over the US was scary. Then, as usual, I put my overthinking skills into action, and started digging to find out if Elon Musk has been working on a flying car, and where his factories are located. (I had no idea he was working even on a new car, and didn’t even know what a cybertruck was until a few days ago because I do not follow Elon Musk ever since his statements about how it is immoral for people to work from home!)

So, I found this post from feb 28. It looks like all the unknown drones striking fear into the hearts of ordinary citizens MIGHT be Elon’s flying cars. He said the unveil will be at the end of the year, and this is the end of the year!

So, once I did my little investigation, I was no longer afraid and was able to sleep easy. But the thing is, how many people did NOT think along this path? How many people did NOT sleep well because of the fear of the unknown??

This is NOT the way to unveil a product (although, it would be a relief to find out for sure this is that those drones are about).

So, although I admire his brilliance, ingenuity, ability to create new things the world has never seen, I am not a fan of Elon because I don’t like him as a person. Will I ever fly in one of his flying cars??? NOPE! I’m afraid of heights.
