Car Mittens

I might want to work in car mittens into my novel. When my kids were little, one of them (all boys btw) stuck up his middle finger as our car passed this kid. apparently the other kid was a bully at school. So I told my kid “if you are going to be sticking up your middle finger, that’s fine but it’s not something other people want to see, so as long as you are going to be using your fingers inappropriately, you have to wear the car mittens.” I made him put them on and he had to wear them for the rest of that drive. (just to get groceries)…after that I kept car mittens in the car for that purpose and think I only had to use them twice lol
