Yeah, Chronorin. It’s a supremely geeky name and that’s why i like it. Also, Aurinko, Amscray, and Archaeopteryx were already taken. Don’t worry, my DeviantArt fans have thoroughly upbraided me for this ignominious lapse in taste, and some have written long and detailed rants as to why i should have stayed with my old name.

Sheesh. Some of the most famous artists there have changed their names. I wonder if ToolKitten and theCHAMBA — formerly Bakanekonei and Lastscionz — have to put up with all this guff.

This is all necessary as part of my online identity consolidation project. I have all these old email addresses and accounts. Edgeling, edgeling2012, mlhomm, ELFradio, etc. I’m going to try to delete as many of those as possible, and boil everything down to either my real name (like a grown-up), and my geek alter-ego.

Anyway, i’m going to go draw now. I have this one day off, and more people ordering drawings than i can possibly handle. It’s pretty great. But tiring.

…whenever i watch those midnight showings vlogs on Channel Awesome, i get a bit depressed. I wish i was doing that — cramming into a car with three friends and ranting or raving about blockbuster movies while in a state of intoxication at three in the morning. You know, if John, Gooch, and Joey were still living in the same place. We could be doing that.

How did i get to the point where i have NO friends in real life?
