I Thought, How Can I Make Lots Of Money Very Fast?

And yet without doing anything illegal… Or vastly illegal anyways.  And the answer came to me – sex work!

I’ve been talking about getting into it for months now: escorting, stripping, "massaging", making photos or videos, phone sex lines.  And I’ve been watching the classified ads to see who was hiring and what their deal was.  I even called a few places but never followed through on anything.

And then one day my best friend who is becoming a stripper tells me that she can give me contact info for where she’s at, and I could get hooked up.  So for once I said "Yeah, sounds good, how about if I go down there with you tomorrow and join practice?"  And for once I did.  And today was my second practice.  And I start this weekend, which is my own decision because they just tell you to start when you’re feeling confident and ready.

Why am I doing it, you may ask?  Well, if you haven’t guessed from the title, my capitalist lust for money has kicked in.  Well, not even that much really… It’s more that I need money in order to start up the company that I’m kicking into motion.  I need a laptop.  And a PO box.  A website.  Legal fees.  I’ve already put the website and legal stuff into action, which is very exciting.  So that’s one reason for the stripping.

Another is that I’m an exhibitionist and I quite enjoy being on stage and being sexual and having people enjoy it.  I find it thrilling.  I also really enjoy dancing.  And being social – making people feel good, asking them how their day went and listening to their stories.  This will be one hell of a job, assuming it all works out as I hope it will (*fingers crossed*)

The huge downside?  If certain people find out then I could potentially lose my volunteer positions and if my family found out they would be really really upset.  My mom would cry and she would probably ask where she went wrong.  It would be very difficult to explain to her how I feel about stripping.

Here are reasons why I like strippers/stripping:
* Money, money, money
* The money comes from men, men I dislike usually.
* The majority of society sees it as an exploiting of women for men’s sexual pleasure – I find it as my exploiting of men for both money and thrills, and taking their money for someething I enjoy doing in the process.
* Dancing is sexy
* Looking sexy is sexy
* Being onstage is a rush of adrenaline
* Strippers are very open-minded sexually.  Mmm… sexy women willing to play with me…
* As a queer woman, I feel little to no attraction to the men who’s money I’m taking, but as a performer, former bisexual, marketing student, and group facilitator (with training) I think think this is a fanatastic job for me, and one that I could really excel at.

See, I go for 10 days without writing, and then I write two entries in as many days.  I was busy.
