Marketing Myself

I finally bit the bullet and put together a marketing resume and sent it out last night to 10 different companies on LinkedIn…I already have an interview scheduled for Monday. Whoa. Ahhh I don’t wanna grow up!!!!!!!

Also, I have this nasty scab on my face from what was either a pre zit or a fever blister that got chapped, so it’s this red, circular, dry, patchy, flakey, icky thing on my chin that isn’t going away! I don’t want to interview with some weird thing on my face!!!!

The job I’m interviewing for isn’t my favorite, but it may be better than what I’m doing here, we shall see. I didn’t expect anything this soon, I was hoping to wait until May, so I didn’t really have to give up my apartment or anything. But…life is what it is. I need more money if I am going to pay off my loans.

Growing up sucks but is also a great thing. Gives us more freedom, makes us even more vulnerable, gives us the chance to experience even more, gives us greater responsibility. It’s tough. Good luck at your interview. It’s only Thursday, you’d be surprised how much that will heal over the weekend, I’m sure by Sunday you’ll be able to disguise it fairly well with concealer.

ryn: The thing is, if you have the ingredients handy it takes all of 5 minutes to make a smoothie. I’m sure they can be frozen, I just don’t know how they’d be when melting, what the texture would be like, almost better to make them fresh each time. Heck that even includes your time to quickly rinse out the blender and take off for work 🙂

I always get something weird on my face before important events. Annoying, isn’t it?

It is tough to have to make adult decisions. Pat yourself on the back ! Some people never get to that point !
