Life changing!
Ugh my life is just completely different from a month ago, and don’t event get me started on a year or two years ago. I’m looking to sublet my room in my apartment, move back with my dad for three months (ugh, but it isn’t that bad, and I’m not really dating, so whatever), and then get an apartment near my new job. I need to find a roommate out there to make it cheaper! Rent out near here is like $800-$1000 for a one bedroom apartment. I’d like it closer to $600…don’t know if that will happen. But the places here are reallllllyyyy nice. Still loving the job, and my boss just told me he likes my ideas!!!!!! Ahhhhh.
I’m feeling a bit sad though. Being away from my old job has made me realize…I don’t have friends anymore. I have my family, but no friends. They don’t have time for me. I did get facebook invited to a party, and I was gonna go, but my brother was moving that day and it ran late…it took these people 4 hours to notice I wasn’t there, and even then they didn’t care. Emily never has time for me anymore, she’s just busy and her other friends come first. Travis is around and supportive…but he wants to cuddle me and smoosh me and I feel trapped and pushed around him, without him saying a word. He wants something from me and I know it. Cara moved away. I miss Charlie sooo much. He was my friend. A dog. Wow I’m a bit pathetic. Jesus. I miss the work girls so much.
Dude I just realized I have worked through my lunch break. Whoops.
Sounds like you need a friend more than a man. Travis doesn’t seem to get that. Sorry about Emily, Cara and Charlie. Dogs are awesome friends, no need to feel pathetic, they become like family members 🙂 I hope you meet some people at work that are friend material. Perhaps you could find a basement suite or a living situation that is a bit cheaper closer to work on craigslist in the roommates wanted section. I think one of the hardest things about OD is that a lot of us would love to hang out with each other but it’s just not an option. Living so far from each other really blows sometimes.

Sounds like Life is pretty complicated for you right now. I hope you can find an apartment you like , in your price range. Congrats on having a good work situation. I am sure you will make some new friends. Just give it a little more time.
