I don’t see how the Republicans could possibly win after this last loooooong two terms (well, okay, I DO see how they could, but I’m trying to be optimistic here) but if worst does come to worst, I’d also be okay with Ru Paul.

Well, I thought it was funny that every time I saw a Ron Paul sign, I read it RuPaul. However, I’m a little disappointed that I’m not the only one who has been amused by that, as evidenced by using Google Images for a picture of RuPaul.

My long-time trouble with misreading what I see has at least been entertaining with this election. Still, I’m happy about Obama. I’d be happy with Hillary too, but would never ever ever hear the end of it from my very conservative family. Who all HATE HILLARY. At least we don’t talk much politics. My father said something when I was home about how he’d heard my girl Hillary had ….done something he disapproved of. I don’t even remember what it was now. But I believe they just think it’s cute how Baker B and I are such weird little liberals.

Anyhow. I have nothing else to say except that I have to agree with Craig Wilson, the guy who writes editorial bits for USA Today (which Baker B buys solely because he likes the sports coverage – I kind of prefer papers with actual news although I do really like Craig Wilson)- who said he’d gladly agree to vote for the candidate who would agree to just disappear for the next nine months.

And if you need some entertainment, here are three little videos I took the other night for Baker B. Who felt the need to be interviewed about his synchs, and especially SIDs First Oz. The end of the second one and all of the third one also involve CIRCUS TIME!!!! In which the kittens run around crazily. And glimpses of our cluttered house. What a shock, I know. They are short – 3 minutes – and low-quality, having been taken with my camera at night, but they’re entertaining.

lol! rupaul for pres! now do you really think either hillary or obama stand a chance? i mean i am a liberal and prefer hillary, but..really stand a chance???

It is so cool to hear your voices! And see the cats in action. How fun.

The whole description of SID was interesting. I want to pet the kitties darnit!!! They both have the most interesting faces-so cuuuuuuute! Oh my gosh! I absolutely HATE that Sideler is allergic. As for the Pres race, Sideler and I were both raised in Republican homes, but we have been Independent’s for years. What matters most to me is gun control, or lack thereof. I will vote for whomever does NOT want to take away my right to own guns.

I think Netflix is just for you guys across the pond but we have various similarities over here. I use TESCO online DVD rental but it’s Lovefilm envelopes which come so I presume there’s some arrangement whereby other companies can come under the same umbrella or something. I have a package now where I pay around £8 for 4 DVDs a month. I could watch more but am trying to wean myself awayfrom the telly rather than sit in front of it even more …….. Anyway it was another diarist who got a voucher to recommend a friend for 3 months free rental for it & offered to anyone on her diary so I took her up on it & have been hooked ever since! That’s how I got into LOST because I didn’t watch it while it was on the telly but Nikki kept raving about it as did other diarists so I thought I’d see what all the fuss was all about. That kept me going for a few weeks as you can imagine! But it’s been a while since I watched the last episode of Series 2 & I’m hoping it’ll all come back when they start Series 3. I’m glad they do the flashback thing at the start of an episode – that’ll help hopefully.

I just watched the movie National Velvet within the last year and loved it. The book I’m sure is much better. I cried for days over the book Black Beauty, and read it at least 3 times. Reading too much non-juvenile literature brings on early onset dementia. Ouch – that hits close to home. Actually I started reading the children’s classics after rooming with Doran. Had never hear of Madeline l’Engle or CS Lewis before that. So – enjoy! My reading pile too is high. Maybe I’ll skip it and go through the Hardy Boys again. After finishing 100 years.
