NYC 4: Down the Rabbit Hole! and etcetera

Well, first, is a picture of Shakespeare’s undergarments :p Unfortunately, the Author’s park bit was closed, so we couldn’t get pics of most of them. But Shakespeare was not in the fence. So.

Now. Alice!

There were plagues all the way around with sayings. I got a few of my faves…

Personally, I thought The Mad Hatter was a little bit freaky….

I love the detail and the little bits….

snail!

caterpillar

lizardthing 🙂

The Cheshire cat was also a tad scary.

mustn’t be late!

a view from under the ‘shrooms!

Other bits of Central Park….
The little lake across from Alice, where people go and float little boats

Not sure what this was. There was a sundial, and then shadowlines on the ground, so I dunno…it was kewl

A lady holding a little man, who had no hands or feet. Interesting…

Times Square at nite:

On our way out of the city, via Grand Central Station…*sigh*….

I had the best time! Seriously, it was a whirlwind trip, but everything seemed to go so well! 🙂 AJ makes a superb travel companion (a superb companion in general, if you ask me *grin*) I can’t wait to see the rest of the world with her!!!!!

*sigh* …it makes me a bit sad, almost–that I didn’t really BE a tourist on my trip!! 🙂

I’m so sorry I missed you … even sorrier that I never called you, as now I’ve lost my cell phone!!! Huge hugs … it looks as though you had a wonderful time, and that makes me feel good. I hope I catch you next time … or maybe I’ll need to take a trip to PA!

I’m very happy for you. It really does look like you had a great time. Thank you for all the great photos, too. I feel like I was there. =o) And, the light at the bottom of the Grand Central photo looks like the Superman logo! COOL!!

RYN: And I’m still waiting for the dog. =o)
