And things work out again…

So went in, they described the job, gave me the speech out how they are a small Association, blah blah blah.  Of course they do not know that I know exactly how much the person I am sorta replacing was making.

That being said, I am proud of myself.  They made me an offer.  I countered that I was looking for a little more, and got the number I needed.  I do know they are already limited by the budget that has been approved for this year so it’s all good…it is enough to keep me living in the manner in which I have become accustomed lol.

Anyway, I start Monday 🙂  I know there were a couple classes next week and I didn’t want to be not working so basically it has worked out to Zero days without a job…which is awesome.

As soon as I health insurance kicks in, I can remove myself from my husbands.  It is costing us like $300/mth to have me on his insurance – so ridiculous.  So I will get my own, we can remove me from his and come out at least $150 (I think) better than we are right now.  Plus I get paid holidays and vacation so YES!

So once again, fate has been kind to me.  Of course I needed to go and buy a few clothes (because I don’t have enough to get through a whole week in an office) but my husband left and has my truck keys in his pocket.  So guess that means I will spend the time cleaning off my laptop from the old job and doing my taxes.  So much fun.
