Mission trip was awesome…

We started about 6:30 AM Saturday, and didn’t go to bed late that night due to a fun-filled game of Cranium.  I got to know alot of the incoming freshman…and a few upper-classman alittle better.  There was so much debris to be cleaned up.  There were trees laying down everywhere as far as the eye could see.  It looked like a timber company had come through and just clear cut the whole place, but left the tree trunks, on peoples houses and sheds.  We started by cleaning some of the debris at the church, then we moved to helping this elderly widows woman named "Cookie" heh…and "she’s a tough cookie" she refused to let any of us call her miss Cookie.  Anyway after that we split into teams some of us stayed at the church and the others went and passed out snow cones at the surrounding schools (which were Red Cross shelters). I got out my guitar and played alittle "Pharoah, Pharoah".  It was a blast. I also led a mini-Bible study that night before we went to bed…that was fun, we got Bill to do alittle commentary afterwards….then it was off to bed we go….Bill and matt snored the entire night…me and scott  just cracked up laughing most of the night….as they were snoring on off beats of each other….every now and then there were in sync. Well that’s all for now,  Aaron and i are leading music this wednesday…as well as doing a skit…so u guys should come see it!  c-ya

God Bless,

Terry
