Sky Day

One of the things I miss the most since getting back from the U.K. is the sky. It is simply not the same here. It’s still beautiful, but the colors are different. Here the clouds are more creamy white, like big fluffs of meringue. And the sky is a dusty, warm blue, bleached by the sun. Over there the sky was this vivid, bright, icey blue. And the clouds were snowy white with deep gray shadows. I keep looking up, amazed each time at the difference I see.

I like the idea of purging, of getting something so completely out of me. But how do you ever do that? Rid something totally from yourself? I fee like it’s impossible. Everything stays with me. "I feel it all, I feel it all."
