Painting binge

I got the clear overcoat on the four model car bodies that I’m trying to finish for Atlanta in three weeks. I have one from the 1950s and three from the 1970s, those ’70s paint jobs were very colorful! There was one minor issue, the yellow and red car had a small area where the clear attacked the bright red enamel paint on the front corner of the roof. I think I can wet sand it with fine sandpaper and touch it up successfully though. I think I can finish three of them in 16-18 hours total, the last one might require 10 hours by itself. I should be able to make it though.

Your models are always so pretty. And you’re right, colorful!

I love seeing all your models. 🙂

I love them. Its takes time and attention. My nephew Jake has done a couple yet he’s not got the passion or the attention it seems. <3,

Thank you. At times its seems like I’m taken for granted more than I’m loved. Yet I appreciate the kind note. Yes I know that them being seperate is a good thing. They are twins and I think they depend to much on the other. Need more independance in my eyes. I know because I see it with Chloe and Julianna. Yet with Julianna being autistic its harder to seperate her from her rock. Love you,

RYN: My daughter was home about 3:30 pm & announced that she was leaving for her very LAST Monday night band practice. In Texas, students are limited to 8 hours per week of non-school time practice – and they often get very close.

ryn: Be careful what you say about me-I know some shadow people.

I love those!! I can appreciate how much time it takes you to do them, as well!! Do you find it somewhat relaxing to paint them?

Nice looking cars!

RYN: Yeah, Baylor’s far & away her favorite choice. Very expensive, but she qualifies for about a 50% discount on tuition. She’s been the perfect child thus far, so we’ll step up & make it happen somehow.

Have you ever shot “Future Floor Acrylic” for a clear top coat? I hear it does not attack paints.
