I owe a catch-up
It’s the end of November and somehow, antisocial Asperger’s old me managed to spend every single weekend in November attending some event or being away for something lol.
The weekend of the 3rd I attended a race at Rockingham Speedway in North Carolina, the weekend of the 10th I attended the Southern Classic NNL (model car show) in Atlanta, the weekend of the 17th (from the 17th until the 21st, actually) I rented a condo on the beach at Myrtle Beach, and this past weekend I attended a race at Concord Speedway in North Carolina. I’m certainly looking forward to staying home for Christmas! I hadn’t originally planned to attend the race at Concord this weekend but it looks as if this is the last major race that will be held there and I wanted the opportunity to attend a race at this iconic short track. That puts my track total for the year at five, with four of them being first time visits to me for this year:
Daytona International Speedway (* means my first visit)
Bowman Gray Stadium
Lancaster Speedway (*)
Ace Speedway (*)
Concord Speedway (*)
I hope to add Hickory Speedway, Greenville-Pickens Speedway, and maybe Myrtle Beach to my list of new tracks next year.
I’ll try to post photos later. I have to go back to work tomorrow morning for the first time since the 16th, I suspect this will be a long week…
yeah, i imagine it will be difficult to work a full week. i have a sister and brother in law who go to daytona for the races. they camp out near there and spend a whole week in the area. take care,

Wow! You have certainly been busy!! How was Myrtle Beach? That is so awesome that you got to rent a condo there. Were you by yourself? I hope the weather was good for you! It’s always hard going back to work after having time off!! When I was sick for a week, the following Monday was very hard for me. Lol. RYN: Thanks! I am feeling a lot better! 🙂
