tomorrow…

is gonna be a long day, i think. Am I looking forward to it? Yes and no.

I’m getting up early on a Saturday morning to head to Spike’s, from where we are going to her best friend’s, from where we are going to brunch, from where we are going to the beach. That seems quite drawn out, doesn’t it? From the beach, I am kidnapping my girlfriend and taking her back to my place for the rest of the weekend.

the beach will be fun. I was kinda hoping some of my friends would be able to show up because the more I hear about it, the more I realize there will be a HUGE crowd of people there (well, huge for me) and the only person I know there will be Spike. I don’t do well in large crowds of strangers. Game night wasn’t so bad – it was a handful of people. But I have my own issues with the beach – OCD issues, even though I love it. I’m afraid it may be too cold in the water to actually swim, which is where I am the most comfortable. And I have no idea how long we’re gonna be there. I don’t tan. I burn. Period. And I really think a sunburn would interfere with the rest of my weekend plans.

I’m looking forward to seeing Spike…always am, of course. Maybe not of course, but it’s true, I am. It feels like so much longer than 2 days since I’ve seen her. Funny how that works. I’m looking forward to watching her, seeing her. I like watching her around her friends, I really do. Maybe I’ll bring a notebook or something to write…something to do that isn’t learning cartwheels and watching people. Maybe not, that may be rude. I’m looking forward to the rest of the weekend even more than the beach. I’m having a mild bout of social panic with the whole idea, but i’ll be cool. It will be fine.

And really? There is so much to look forward to. I don’t know if I’ll have time to write tomorrow, so you get a twofor today 🙂
