Ryan is sick today.  Poor guy never, ever gets sick, so he doesn’t quite know how to handle it.  I got up today and went to get him cough syrup, cough drops, orange juice and chicken soup so I could nurse him back to health.  The bad thing is that we both ended up staying in bed ALL day, watching television and napping, so of course now (at 1 a.m.) I am not at all tired.  Ryan is taking his first shower of the day (he normally takes two…one to wake him up and one before bed – since he works in a restaurant he needs it).  I am drinking a Strongbow in the hopes that it will knock me out and let me sleep.  Healthy, right? =)  Oh well.  I rarely drink, and I know it is going to be a crazy week…I just can’t afford to be tired!

I was hoping Ryan would be well enough to work tomorrow, but he ended up finding someone to cover his shift.  Now I have to get up while he stays in bed and actually get some things done around here.  I am an inherently lazy person, so this will not be easy.  =)  Wish me luck!

It is now Sunday afternoon, and I have managed to at least get a little something done!  Slept a little late this morning after being up late last night, but once I woke up, I got up right away.  Emptied and reloaded the dishwasher and commenced to gathering all of our tax information together.  I’ve been sitting at the table watching bad television and working on our taxes all afternoon.  I finally decided to pay the small fee to use Tax Act this year, because it makes it so much easier.  I actually finished our taxes if we file jointly this year, but now I am going to go back and do them again to see if it makes a difference if we file separately.  I really don’t want to do this (our return is great already), but I don’t want to wonder which is the best decision for us.  What a pain.  It will be great to have it done and filed though!

Once I finish this, I’m going to see how much steam I have left.  I need to finish up thank you cards from the wedding (can’t BELIEVE this isn’t done yet!), as well as a few other things.  Blah.
