The Holiday Half Marathon

Today was the Holiday Half (and 8K for people like me) and even though rain threathened, it was  great morning to run!

Always great seeing David and Suzie

The porta-potty line is always long

This is Wendy. She was a Facebook friend of mine and I hadn’t met her. Just mutual running friends and she had sent me a Friends Request back in March. One of our mutual friends had tagged her and commented “Now THAT’s the face of a runner”. Wendy had just ran 13.1 miles. She emailed me yesterday: Hey Tim, there’s something about this photo that bothers me. Would you please take it down? Thanks.

I emailed back: I’m so sorry Wendy. I didn’t know that was you until someone tagged you. I understand and since my daughter was a great cross country runner, I know that some running pictures aren’t flattering. You did great though and I’ve deleted the picture. Merry Christmas

I woke up this morning to see that we’re not friends anymore. Oops

Melissa did great
