Should I Take this as a Sign?

Recently I received an email from a man who said he knew my father. I don’t know the man. But I did write letters a few months back and I guess one got to his father. But anyways….I learned some information about him. Well I wrote him 2 more times. I also found his number. I have called 3 times. I still haven’t received any messages or calls from him.
Should I take that as a sign that he doesn’t want to get to know me?
