where I’ve been
I’ve been really busy lately, what with the 4 jobs and all. I’ve also been seeing my docs a lot lately. I’ve had chronic back pain since my accident last June, and I found out why. Turns out that I fractured a vertebra in that accident, and even though it’s healed I’ve lost some bone mass and consequently have acquired scoliosis. This little change has made the muscles on the left side of my lumbar spine stronger and tighter and more prone to stiffness and muscle spasms! yay! The good news is that the doctor thinks I’m the Highlander since I BROKE MY BACK AND HEALED IT WITH YOGA.
So. Grateful. for. that.
It actually hasn’t affected me too much. My back gets tired if I’m working or standing for too long, but then I find something to do while sitting. I enjoy a hot Sake bath, and do some yoga, and try to get plenty of rest. I also get a lot of benefit from working out.

Wow, it must also show you have a higher tolerance for pain, perhaps brought on by your yoga practice?
