Monday again

It started raining really early this morning, like around 5 or 5:30, and I laid in bed trying to get back to sleep… at 7:37 I looked at my phone and got up… good thing too! I’d set an alarm for 7:30 but it didn’t go off. I got Rich to drive me to work because I just didn’t like the idea of riding my scooter out here in this weather. So I’m here, at the yoga center again. I don’t know if I mentioned it, but I’m working at the yoga center again. My hours were cut at Fresh because they consider me to be a ‘seasonal employee’. I guess I should be happy I still have a job with them since they fired everyone else in my position across the state.

yeah, it was like that.

I was reading a favorite’s diary this morning (he’ll know who he is- can I link to you? just wanted to ask first) and I really want to go to Hawaii. Not for the hiking, because I don’t deal well with dead frogs, broken ankles, or falling off cliffs (Not sure about those last 2 things), but because it just sounds so beautiful. My brother lived on Honalulu for years, he hated it. That means I’d probably love it.

we fit together because opposites attract!

Teacher training was yesterday and I realized that I’m close to the tail end of my training and I’m going to miss it. I’m really enjoying it. Yesterday we had a long and spirited discussion about relationships and applying yogic philosophy to the maintainence of relationships. Everything was brought up as Male/Female and then there were discussions about the dynamic of relationships… one of the trainers (she’s also an owner of our center and an awesome teacher) kept looking at me because she knew I would say something… so I finally did:

Me: this conversation is pushing my buttons y’all. Can we maybe redefine our terms here, perhaps to speak in terms of energetic polarity? Because all of this strict male/female talk is making me crazy.

And then that opened the gates and pretty soon we had other people seeking clarification that would fit with their religious views, and feminist views… it was a great conversation.

And then we did a lot of hard yoga. Ouch.

imagine this with more arm swinging

My tattoos are all colored in and they’re already healed perfectly, hooray for expensive skincare that works miracles that I got for free!
