a question

A student asked me yesterday who I was going to vote for, and then gave me a lot of purty speechifying on behalf of Obama. When he was done he said "well, who do you think you’ll vote for now?"

My answer? "I’m going to vote for whoever will let me get married, and right now I don’t think ANY of the candidates will. Sure, they say they’re for gay rights, but I get the feeling it will be ‘separate but equal’ at best, but more likely it will be ‘sure I said that, but I really meant this other totally different thing.’"

This is going to be a hard decision.

i agree, if anything it’s not going to be another white male that i vote for. @};——–

the important thing is that you make a point to vote, and that you’re doing so with some thought. your political headlines are quite dramatic these days.

I think that’ll be a big part of and who I vote for. Hopefully sometime soon we’ll have that right.

I hear ya!
