Coming Together

Well after about 2 weeks of the house being upside down things are finally coming together. After advice from my neighbor, crystal and scott, I have some great colors and decorating ideas. Funny how a gay guy needs designing help, but yeah, I guess I do. Using a bit of everyone’s advice and the place is almost done. Carpet is the next big purchase. Called Scott on my way home to see if he wanted to meet for dinner since he works down by me now. turns out he was going to warwick to get his oil changed and I was going shopping for a bird cage and rabbit cage so we met at Olive Garden for dinner. He paid which was cool and I got my cages. Scott came over and hung out for awhile. Got my new birds in their new cage and they already have 2 eggs!!! I’m so excited, really hope I can breed these guys. Got sam in her new cage, first time she’s been in a cage in the four years I’ve had her but it is as long as the window she’s been living in and just a foot or so shorter, I will take her out more to play, just hope she is happy. cage will work out well since it has a bottom pan to catch her poops. she is box trained so pees in the litter box but has poops and litter droppings I always have to clean up so should work out well. BOTH new birds got loose in the transition, was worried that might upset them after seeing the eggs but they are back in the nest. Promised Terry the first born since she gave me my first java finch that I have enjoyed so much the past 8 years. I will never be without a male java as long as I live now, they sing so pretty and I really enjoy it. New birds are named Casper and Wendy. Salamander is doing well, got him some official “salamander food” tonight. he has been eating the blood worms and coming out more which is good, just hope my niece doesn’t want it back since I’m only supposed to be “baby sitting” it. Was looking at lizards tonight, may want one of them if she takes it back but hope she doesn’t as they get 8 inches long and live up to 20 years. Helped out my sister with her land clearing this weekend and found 3 red backed salamanders under a log, let them go in the woods. My business Lit class is officially over on wed, so glad to have a couple weeks off before the next class. Should have my assoicates by end of next summer. LA trip got cancelled today at work, kind of disapointed but probably good since I need to save my money for my vacation in January to Ft Lauderdale, hopefully I can connect up with guy and mykey down there, miss them…..got the electric blanket dug out and plugged in, 33 degrees now and dropping, god I miss summer already, hate the season changes so much and wish it was summer all year…
