Shopping
Try as I might not to become a cliche, when it comes to shopping I am afraid I am kinda stereotypical. I like shoes and I like bags- to the point where it is getting a bit beyond a joke. I am not saying all my bags and shoes are stereotypical ‘ladies’ type things but I have enough to open a shop.
I took yesterday off work and went shopping with my friend- got another bag and a pair off shoes. Oops. It was a lovely day though and nice to spend time with my friend. I even managed to get her to go into my retro shop- where I would love to spend all day but she thought it smelt funny thus we only spent about 15 mins in there- I think she is a bit prejudiced because there are second hand things in there; at least I managed to get her to come in with me so can’t complain.
I actually spent most on baby things- before you get worried- it’s not my baby. My cousin had a baby last week and I didn’t realise quite how addictive it would be to get clothes for a small person and ended up spending a small fortune. I even got the baby a little pair of sparkly shoes (if it goes to a party all the new babies in town will be jealous of them).
Anyway I mustn’t dawdle- got loads to do today and might be going out later- oooh what a hectic life I lead! Enjoy your weekends folks.
I’m laughing, because Susie has the same addiction: shoes and bags! When her sister came in for Christmas, Bethany wasn’t able to fit a bag in her luggage or on the plane (long story). However, she had no trouble finding one she’d like to use while she was here in Susie’s vast array. As to baby clothes, aren’t they the best? Take care.
