Lazy Sunday

I do like lazy sundays! I have been pretty lazy all weekend to be honest.

My Ma came to stay on Friday night and it was lovely to see her. We chatted and watched a video about where we went on holiday in Canada a couple of years ago- we got all nostalgic and definately think we may both have itchy feet. I know Ma has, but I too seem to have inherited that gene! I might be going abroad early next year if I have enough pennies. Looking into Barcelona at the moment. My sister wants to go to Canada again in 2010 but I am not sure i can afford it- would love to go though. If I put my smoking money in the bank I might have enough! I really need to do that.
I was really sad when she went but she can’t stop when my housemate is here because he smokes and she can’t bear it- so he kindly went and stayed at a mates house on Friday and didn’t come home till lateish on Saturday so we had the place to ourselves smokefree!

I smoked until 10 weeks ago and I am beginning to think I can’t live here anymore because it’s very difficult to live with someone who smokes so much when you don’t want to anymore. But anyways… Today I was very lazy and because the clocks went back by one hour, I decided to be super lazy and didn’t get out of bed till about 2.30 this afternoon- instead I just sat under my duvet and played a DVD game- it has questions about football and it’s really addictive, I am determined to finish it!  I did go out last night but it was to keep my friend company really so nothing exciting to report apart from the fact I wore a cardi out in town on a saturday- this town is the sort where it’s nearly november and some girls were still wearing very short shorts and backless tops. I don’t think I was ever designed for that sort of attire but perhaps I could have/ should have worn something a little less cardiganny…!

I intend to get even lazier by going to bed early to watch films! I did change my bedding and sort out my washing but that is all I intend to do.

Just a little side note; it was quite funny, a freind of mine from work went out on Thursday and apparently some fella was asking why I wasn’t with her! She said he was just my type as well- damn! No one is interested when you are out and then when you’re doing the ironing they want to know all about you! Typical.

The thing about lazy sunday’s is they never last long enough, even when they have an extra hour 🙂
