Some news…and Alice Sebold :)

Hey I’m back already.

I got an email from Donovan the other day and this is what it said:

Hey Anja! I’m writing you a letter to your parents house, so make sure they are on the lookout. Ask —– for my address so you can write ME! I miss you a lot. I’m going ashore soon, so I won’t be able to have net access again for awhile. Perhaps you can write me? 🙂 I love ya Anja and I hope to hear from you soon!

I’m sorry there are errors in my other entries and that the songs look messed up but I can’t edit which is so frustrating! FOD is f.cking up.

I hope you’ll go read the entries though, and feel free to give me any ideas, topics, or add comments. 🙂 I’d appreciate it.

I just finished reading a book called Lucky, by Alice Sebold. I got it by an accident. I wanted to read another book of hers, ‘The Lovely bones’ (which sounds amazing) but they didn’t have it at the library so my boyfriend got me this one. And I must say I like it. It’s about the authors own life. She was raped when she was 19, and the book is about her life an experiences after the attack. It’s a thrilling book and I could hardly put it down again. She is a great writer and I respect her a lot.

Has any of you read anything about Alice Sebold? Or seen her on TV? She has been on Oprah. I would have loved to see that.

Well I gotta run. I think I’m gonna watch Tuck Everlasting. It sounds like it’s a good movie. Has anyone seen it? Or know anything about it?

Tuck Everlasting was a good book, I read it in the sixth grade. And would you quitre worrying you worry wart? Sheesh… have I ever said something that wasn’t true before? Ummm… don’t answer that I don’t wanna know… 😛 I’m fine… onmly problem out here is the heat… perhaps you can send me an air conditioner? Also… post my address if you could please. Thanks Anja! Yeah but WHICH address Donovan? You have lots! LOL. The one for where you are now? Or in Jacksonville? Or back at your mom’s house? I’m not even sure I have all those 🙂 I’m glad you wrote here though. I can’t email you back at your new email addy!!

I tried geting ahold of you… i called your momz house she said you was gonna be gone a good couple of months she gave me a adress to write u at i was going to befor easter but i am happy you got in contact befor then ,,, Well been thinking about you,,ANd leave me a note on me diary or email me tell me a way i can get ahold of you so i can talk to you…

Thanks for the note, that was a very nice thing to say. I’ve flipped through most of your diary and you sound like a very cool person. Hope all is well wherever you are. I myself come from a military family and respect everything you guys are doing over there. Keep up the good work and stay safe.

Hey Sweetheart, I hope you are doing o.k., and I hope my letters are finding you. I miss you and I love you. I’ll be done with school in December instead of next may like I had previously thought, hopefully you will be home by then. I know you are o.k., but it is my job to worry about you so I will;). RYN: The Lovely Bones was very good. It really makes you think about how short life can be. Have you read anything by Kay Hooper? If I’m not reading Danielle Steel, then I’m reading her. Her writing style is quite different from Alice Sebold’s but she fabulous. Stephanie
