dancing shoes
1. i have not written anything in so long. i believed that i was losing myself, losing whatever i used to be. but last night i found myself scribbling ideas in the dark when i should have been concentrating on something else. i will not give up on myself just yet.
2. i am currently addicted to the tv show ‘the shield’ and also the artic monkeys.
3. i am worried that i will not be ready for my exhibition. the theatre show i am running is behind schedule. i am currently home for an hour a day at the most. unless i am sleeping.
4. i am getting my hair finished tomorrow. once it is done i will post pictures.
5. i had a boy that i have not seen or spoken to for 8 years get in contact with me the other day. i am excited, and scared. he wants to catch up but i cannot help but think it will be uncomfortable.
6. the past two weeks i have been dreaming about being pregnant. every night. i wonder what this means.
i miss this place.
and it’s no doubt missed you and your contribution. dreaming about being pregnant has a few meanings but they are all entwined; feeling creative, inventive, analysising meaningful issues, having expectations of your body. all that sort ofthing.

I just woke up in terror because for the first time ever, I had the most HORRENDOSLY REALISTIC pregnant dream. But it wasnt’ so much a pregnant dream as it was me sitting in the waiting room and talking to the nurses at the abortion clinic. White paper robe and all. It was terrifying. Bah I hate those dreams. They mean nothing, so don’t you worry. Freud is now rolling over in his grave.
