Polite, Friendly and Professional Phone Manner

I had a job interview today for a temporary job where I phone old alumni of this uni and basically ask them for money. I think it went well, they even said at one point “that’s exactly the answer I was looking for!” I hope I ticked all the right boxes. Its £6.50 ph but only for a month, and only a few shifts a week.

I am so poor that my Dad has had to step in and pay this month’s rent and my bills. I am so ashamed. Having said that though, everyone else Ive spoken to has had either their tuition fees or their rent or both paid for by their parents. I havent really had either except a one off payment of £300 way back at the beginning of the course, so I have paid at least  £2800 in fees, and £1350 in rent,  not to mention all the living costs. I think I will need more long term help but Im too scared to ask.
