Like far too much caffeine

So not a lot has happened. I had a family wedding last weekend and I danced with some relatives (drunk – me and them) and it was ok. It was humanist ceremony so there were no prayers and hymns, it was all about respect. Blegh. Meant I had to get up at six though to make it back into the city for my shift at Scafways at eight am. My poor Mum had to get up too and drive me in. Im really not feeling the love for the checkouts at the moment.

Ive finally handed in all of my coursework, so all I have now is that pesky little Masters thesis to think about. Ive seen mt research supervisor, she’s given me a tonne of stuff to read and I have a preliminary report to write for the 17th with my research hypotheses and background. I havent typed a word of it yet though. I start in the lab on Tuesday.

I have a really unsettling feeling at the moment. Im realy jittery and cant settle in one place. I was fine when I got up but as the morning has gone on I’ve felt agitated. I have to nip into work to see if they want me to do an extra shift tomorrow evening, and I have to get a thank you card and give it to my Gran, so its not stressful at all, but I cant seem to shake the overstimulated feeling. All Ive done is watch Tv this morning. Maybe its neural hangover from the fright I got when a huge spider ran out of my jeans when I went to put them on this morning.

Im also worried (again) about money. I got a letter from the bank this morning saying they hadnt paid my rent. Im off to see what state my acount is in just now. Might have to ask my Dad for handout number 54 since I moved out. I hate asking for money. I feel like shit. Ive also seen the old flat I used to live in that my Mum and Dad own and have now redecorated a little. I cant wait to move out of dysfunctional towers here and back to my old flat. I can give my notice in August and move during September. Bring it on!

I hate spiders. If one ran out of my jeans this morning I think I’d still be hyperventilating now, six hours later. 🙂 Hope the money situation resolves itself soon.

I love spiders (little ones at least; bigger ones I can stand). RYN: No, we only only the five channels (plus SixTV, the Oxford channel) – it was a new programme on Channel 4. Is Living on Freeview? We have that at home. xx
