Dont ever job-share with a friend.

I just got off the phone to someone Im sharing a part-time job with, and she is expecting me to give up some of my hours next week because she missed work today. She missed it cause she was away a couple of days ago, and mis-judged her schedule resulting in her missing her flight back. Its still a gray area as to why she missed it, she told me just just lost track of time, but I also heard its cause she went to the pub. Because I dont yet know exactly why, Im not commenting. But I do know that I shouldnt have to give up a shift next week for her to make up. Its not my fault she messed up.

If I had worked her shift for her like she asked me to then I would understand, but I didnt, so if she took extra hours next week I would be losing out. She said that she really needs the money, but so do I! I dont see why I should miss-out!
