I wish someone would
Go on vacation and leave me their dog for a week.
I’m not ready for full time dog commitment, but a two-week dog would be heaven for me right now. I can’t really sleep in the mornings anyway and i’m looking for any excuse to leave work early and take a walk in the park. I wonder if there’s a place to rent a dog.
Too bad you live so far. I’m going on vacation and leaving our dog with the neighbor for the week.

I have no idea if there are dog rescues where you live, but here, rescues are always looking for “foster parents” for dogs (to keep a dog at their house while the dog is awaiting adoption). You might want to check into it.
