Mood: Bored

Boy: Ydan’s Married. Oy! My friend Lentil, who is supposed to know these things, and who is the one who advised me to go after him in the first place, didn’t bother to tell me this… I guess he didn’t know. The guy has never mentioned his wife, but it seems he has one, and she works on TV.

Writing About: Transportation.

Daily philosophical approach / deep thought: People who get insulted are people who feel that they have some power. The less power you feel you have, the less insulted you will allow yourself to be. You will pretend nothing happened because you don’t want to expose yourself to the possibility that no one will even care that you were hurt.  The worst insult to someone is to not even care when you insult them. As Eva Ilouz said “The social order is written on the body through emotions”.

Nice thing that happened: I met Jonathan accidently on my way to work. Gave him a ride to his bus. It was nice to see him, though there seems to be nothing between us anymore… I don’t think he’s seeing anyone.

Interesting thing that happened: Nothing exceptional happens to me lately!

That is food for thought…being insulted gives someone power. You’re right. You always come up with stuff that makes lots of sense.

My parents taught me that there was a more negative emotion than hate – indifference. Really interesting to see that idea from the communication viewpoint! Definitely making me think, you. 🙂
