hit and run/miss.

i think i wrote something
about bitterness or betterness
i stuck it in my pocket
and it got misplaced

these things happen
and i always forget that it happened anyway
and
i never remember a word i write, so
i guess it’s not that important that i lost it
but it might have been the one bit of clarity
i had all of yesterday
on a piece of someone else’s receipt
from a calendar full of girls or cars
