In unrelated news:

— Saw Emmett Saturday night for the first time since January. It was awkward, given his recent “I will always love you”-style madness, but overall not an unpleasant experience.

— My niece is the funniest kid ever. We are taking her to Boo at the Zoo on Friday evening so she can make all of the other poser kids jealous with her Darth Vader (or as I like to say, Darth Toddler) costume.

— I am working at a new place, right down the street from the place that let you have your dog at work. It’s okay, just incredibly boring. But hey! It’s a job until the end of the year and I haven’t known that kind of stability since the bitch fired me from Kirby (thank heavens for small favors for that termination!)

— The aforementioned dog place was great for jewelry sales. Hopefully that keeps up!

— Main Street Cupcakes is amazing. If you are ever in Hudson, Ohio, you should really go there and get the Wedding Day White or the Red Velvet cupcakes. To die for!
