me and my family ran from the hurricane the night before. We went back to our hometown of Tampa, Florida. We watched the annihilation of katrina on the news safe from our summer beach house. After 3 days, we drive back only to find our neighborhood is in ruins. I have 12 friends that I’m really close to. I’ve heard from 3.. they’re ok, but homeless. 4 of them passed away, and the other 5, I haven’t heard from yet. We’ve since moved back to Florida.. staying in our beach house until we get a new house built. We’re fine.. we just have to start over. Thank you for the notes gals. Love you so much.

OMG i’m so sorry about the hurricane destroying ur house & killing your friends! :0( ur so calm about it, i’d be a mess! i hope everything’s getting better there now. stay safe. sorry i haven’t noted sooner, i’m just catching up with everyone now. lol -x-
