From the morning I wake
from the bed that I lay
its great to be living
what a hell of a day

When I walk out each morning
I promise I’ll say
it’s great to be breathing
what a hell of a day

When I hop in my car
and I get on my way
I count on good traffic
and a hell of a day

I swing by for coffee
made hot the right way
brings a spring to my step
on a hell of a day

I get to my employment
and to my boss I do say
good morning fine person
it’s one heck of a day

My desk is all tidy
from the work I display
and the moneys just perfect
on this hell of a day

Another day done
no more work for to stay
so home to my loved ones
on a hell of a day.

if you believe all this bullshit
then to you I must say
the bed was all lumpy
the traffic a jam
the coffee was cold
the boss well just damn
the work stacked in piles
and shit for the pay
hope yours was much better
have a hell of a day

Oh, it was one of those days. I know how mine are. I like this poem…I relate well to it. ryn: Well…I don’t know how bright the sides are, but looking head on…it’s kinda dark. Hey, I take ’em where I find ’em.

Ryn: is that in the literal sense or figuratively speaking? Ie you saying “One day you will run into to someone in here and realize some is pretending to be you”

Love the poem! Where do u live? Michigan, right? Yeah, itd expensive here BUT they charge for a LIFESTYLE here. SF can’t be cheap, its too awesome. Lol. Another girl said she pays $735 for 3 beds/ 2 bath house. Tjats insane. I didn’t even pay that in AZ.

A hell of a day can be good or bad, I can always watch someone who’s kind of interesting forever. I think a waitress who’s having a bad day is a lot more fun than any comic doing forty minutes of material.
