Wisdom is the key to more…wisdom
I’m going to my sister’s for Thanksgiving tomorrow. I’m bringing cheesy potatoes, or we like to call them, “funeral potatoes”. My BIL got the turkey from a local meat shop so no SA’D turkeys for us, thank goodness.
So the ceasefire between Isreal and Lebanon. Will it stay? And who won? I guess it depends on which side you’re on. Some say the Lebanese believe they won because they were able to get Isreal to agree to a ceasefire to end the war and no more lives will be lost. Others say Isreal won because they benefit from the deal that was made between them and Biden. In my opinion, the US and Isreal won because now there are US troops in Lebanon which I believe the US hasn’t been there since 1982. I could be wrong but either way, now the US has their hands back in Lebanon and whatever helps Isreal helps the US and vice versa.
Is this ceasefire going to be apart of Biden’s legacy just months before he leaves, or as some speculate, was this a gift from Netanyahu to Trump for an easier transition on January 20th? Honestly, I don’t think Netanyahu cares about gifting anyone, I’m sure it was a strategic move to get what he wanted, and the US wants their hands in every country they can.
After the ceasefire with Isreal and Lebanon, there was talks of Hamas possibly considering a ceasefire as well, but Biden has approved a $680m arms package to Isreal, completely disregarding Hamas push for peace. So there’s that.
The US tells Ukraine they need to lower their drafting age so they can get more troops to fight the war with Russia. Just the US telling other countries how they should run things but yet no other country can tell us what to do. Well, maybe except Isreal.
Ukraine’s age to join their army is 25 and they are opposed to the idea of a draft because they want it to be a choice to join, as it should be. I hope Ukraine will stand their ground but the US is a bully.
I hope Jordan Love gets picked as one of the eight finalists for the Art Rooney Sportsmanship Award. He is an amazing Quarterback in my personal opinion. I’m glad Aaron Rodgers left when he did because I don’t think Green Bay would be playing as well as they are if he had stayed. I mean, look at the Jets. Especially with the team being almost all rookies at that time and he hates playing with rookies. If Patrick Mahomes gets put on the list and Jordan Love doesn’t, I will scream.
I just realized I’ve been spelling Israel wrong this whole time. Thanks spell check. I’m too lazy to change it but I will spell it correctly going forward.
