Once Upon A December
What did I do today?
I slept in a bit. Mornings are hard.
Made scrambled eggs for breakfast.
I think I kind of zoned out for a while then finally took a shower and got ready.
I took Tank for a walk but it was colder than I thought so it wasn’t a long walk. Tank started shivering so we went back home. It reminded me that I need to get him a coat. I really should buy the neighbor’s dog a coat. That dog is outside everyday in 20-30° weather plus wind chill. It’s possible the poor dog is left outside all night as well. I hope not but there is a very high chance it is. Next week the temperatures at night will be below zero.
After noon I went to Target with my mom and my sister. My nephew and soon-to-be adopted niece are having their birthday party tomorrow so I bought them both presents. I also bought some stupid shit I don’t really need. Begrudgingly convinced myself I don’t need to buy another book, and of course, I had to order a coffee from Starbucks on the way out.
Afterwards, I went home and cleaned a little. I tried to organize some things but I get overwhelmed.
I went to my sister’s house and hung out for a bit then came home.
I’m living the high life, let me tell ya.
My side where I pulled something from coughing so much is finally starting to feel better. There are still certain movements I make that causes some pain but it’s manageable. I’m down to only having to take ibuprofen once during the day instead of every 4 hours or so. I can also sleep “better” than before but insomnia is fun. However, I no longer feel like I’m dying, so that’s a plus.
I did read a few news articles but I don’t feel much like posting any today.
Forgot to learn some Russian today, dammit. Oh well.
I found out one of the local high schools will be doing an Anastasia musical this year. Anastasia is my most favorite Disney movie so I will most definitely buy a ticket. I wish they would do a live action of Anastasia but they probably won’t because it’s based in Russia. I’m pretty sure my first Disney crush was Dimitri.
