Happy Birthday to me

So I have been to hell in back these past 24 hours. I may not be fully back but for a solid 24 hours I have been dealing with a stomach virus from the depths of hell. I think I met Hades.

I’ve never felt this weak before. I’ve been trying my best to stay hydrated. I feel like I’ve lost 10lbs…not in a good way.

So, I’m sad to report that I missed the Anastasia musical I had been looking forward to for weeks. I gave my tickets to a grandma and her granddaughter and the granddaughter really enjoyed it.

Since it’s my birthday, the best one yet, I thought I would look up some facts about the year I was born.

You forgot skinny. The girls were perfectly skinny back then.

Happy Irrelevant Day, Oldie!

Also, sounds like Norovirus, if it goes away…

@schuyler well, I wasn’t really focusing too much on personal appearances such as weight during that time frame as I didn’t think it was particularly noteworthy. I do agree, however, that people were healthier and more active than most people today.

Happy Birthday!

I love the song ‘Eternal Flame’ by the Bangles. I was born in ’86, so cannot say I have any recolletion of all you mentioned that happened in ’89, but a lot of that was interesting to read. I started watching ‘The Central Park 5 Case’ on Netflix and I don’t know why I stopped, but I just couldn’t believe the story and know that it is probably 1 of many cases and is just so not right how just being ‘Black’ already raises questions and puts you in a lower bracket.

OKay enough depressing talk. Hope you do get better soon and even though you didn’t to to see Anastacia you still had a great day!
