[crunch time]

Just over two weeks to go until I am done with school forever! Still tons to do in that time, though…

Did I mention that we are officially booked to do a large organized bike ride in May? We are going as something of a graduation celebration. It is May 18th (Saturday) in Northern Michigan. We are driving up Friday evening and staying in a hotel near the start line, riding 51 miles along the coast of Lake Michigan, and staying in a hotel on Mackinac Island (the finish is in Mackinaw City, just a quick ferry ride to the island). We will spend Saturday evening and Sunday exploring the island before heading home. I am so excited! I hope the weather cooperates, but if not we ride rain or shine.

This will be our first vacation without Blue, so I will be a little sad. But my mom is staying at our house for the weekend to take care of her and the cat, so I know they will be in good hands.

Also, we are FINALLY starting to get spring-like weather. Is it like this everywhere? It has been cold and grey for months, but we have finally had a couple of warmer, sunny days. Greg and I went for an 18 mile bike ride Tuesday afternoon, and I got sunburned on my face! Can’t wait for summer!
